I know we are spoiled...

so each and every morning we wake up... one of the kids heads outside in the early morning sunshine in the front yard and picks as many oranges and they can fit into the big basket.

each and every morning... we take turns squeezing those oranges in to the sweetest juice I've ever sipped.

each and every morning we ooh and ah and celebrate the orange juice, pronouncing it the best we've had thus far.
and all through the days we munch on fresh oranges, warmed by the mid-day sun... sticky fingered - juice dribbling down our chins. Everything smells like orange zest and the spray that has scattered as we open the soft peelings - our clothes, our hair, our fingernails.
Oranges and sunshine.
